Community Resources

The Rialto Community Center is home to multiple nonprofit and local community organizations. Our collective mission is to provide accessible resources to our community. For more information on a specific service/program, please contact the appropriate agency.


Metrolink – Southern California Regional Rail Authority. Metrolink is often times mistaken for Metro, the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Metrolink is a separate agency that operates service on seven regional lines: Ventura County, Antelope Valley, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange County, Inland Empire-Orange County and 91 Line. Metro operates buses, subway (Red and Purple Lines), and light rail (Blue Line to Long Beach, Green and Gold Lines). For more information on Metro, please visit www.metro.net.

The Academy of the Minds – Free teen mentorship/leadership program. This program addresses core issues facing low-income communities from different ethnic backgrounds and who have not received their high school diploma. Saturdays. Tel. 951-254-2151. www.taotm.org

Family Health Services (Room 504) – Social services including: coaching and mentoring, caregiver support services, child development program, and consumer education. Tel. 909-820-2660. By appointment.

Nutrition Classes Free nutrition classes! Learn how to read nutrition labels, prepare healthy meals, and exercise tips. Provided by El Sol Neighborhood Educational Center. Wednesdays at 6:00pm. Tel. 909-884-3735, www.elsolnec.org

Pride Platoon (Room 505) 14 week program specifically designed to deal with “at-risk” youth. Ages 14-17. Must reside in the City of Rialto and meet income guidelines. Tel. 909-820-2621, Email: prideplatoon@rialtopd.com
