Building & Safety Division
The Building Division is responsible for ensuring that all new and remodeled construction follows California Building Codes and City ordinances, meeting all structural, fire, health, life, and safety requirements.

The Engineering Division plans, designs, and inspects the construction of the City’s physical infrastructure, including parks, streets, sewer, transportation, and drainage improvements; and administers the landscape maintenance.
The Agua Mansa Enterprise Zone expired on October 14, 2006; however, the enterprise zone tax benefits such as the hiring tax credits and sales and use tax credits will still be available for equipment placed in service or employees that were hired prior to October 14, 2006.
