Riverside Avenue Central Reconstruction Project

Street Reconstruction Project between San Bernardino Avenue and just south of the Metro Railroad Tracks 

The City of Rialto will reconstruct Riverside Avenue (Central) between San Bernardino Avenue and just south of the Metro railroad tracks.

Riverside Avenue Improvements* 

• Reconstruct Riverside Ave. between San Bernardino Ave. and just south of the Metro railroad tracks 
• Upgrade existing/construct new ADA-compliant curb ramps 
• Reconstruct sidewalks, driveways, bus pads, curbs, and gutters 
• Adjust underground utilities to new roadway surface grades 

*One lane in each direction on Riverside Avenue will be open at all times.

What to Expect

We recommend that residents, business owners, employees, customers & dispatchers sign-up to receive email updates.

• Flagmen: Flaggers will be onsite as needed to allow access to traffic 
• Dust Mitigation: Water trucks will be used to minimize dust 
• Safety: Traffic control implementation will be used for the safety of motorists and the crews.

Daytime: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday – Friday* 

*Notifications will be provided if night work is needed. Holidays excluded.
