Brian Park started his time with the Rialto Fire Department in 1997 as a Crafton Hills College Paramedic student while working at the Barona Fire Department as a firefighter/emergency medical technician (EMT) in San Diego County. He became the first full-time firefighter/paramedic at Barona upon completing the Crafton Paramedic Program, where he also attended their Fire Academy.
He returned to Rialto in 1999 when he was hired as a full-time firefighter/paramedic. He was promoted to the rank of Fire Captain in 2007 and Battalion Chief in 2012. He has an Associate’s degree in Fire Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Service Administration from Columbia Southern University and he has completed the requirements for Chief Officer through California State Fire Training. He was promoted to Division Chief in 2019 where he oversaw all Fire Department Operations including Fire, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Training, Rescue, and Emergency Response personnel, including the three shift Battalion Chiefs
